ty for the lovely gift Laura. I am excited to check them out and see which i prefer. Have a wonderful November.
Dear Laura,
First of all, allow me to thank you sincerely for the awesome prints you have so generously given to us. As for a favorite, I truly cannot pick one over another. I do not often do any grayscale as most artists make them so dark I consider them pen and ink drawings. Yours, however, are not that dark and I really like them. I have a laser printer and use knock off toner which smears quite a bit and also dissolves in water based medium so I tend to completely stay away from grayscale – especially if it is very dark. I believe your drawings will not cause that to happen. Professional – no, I am not by a long shot but at 73 I still love to color and paint even though there was about a 50 year gap between sessions!!!! As a child I used crayons and watercolors but when I was a late teen I mostly dabbled in oils, after which I began “real life.” Took a couple of semesters of art in high school, but that was the end of my “training” if you could call it that. But once hooked, the love of coloring never really goes away and all it takes is getting a good colored pencil in your hands again to light that spark! Again, thank you so much. I treasure your videos even though I don’t make the lives very often.
Many Blessings and Thanks,
Donna
Hi dear Laura, first off Thank You so much for these Beautiful Grayscale images you gave me as Freebie, can’t wait to color these Rock Girls LOL! OK. for your Q. about Grayscale i absolutely LOVE coloring Grayscale illustrations and i buy only these know because it’s make my Portraits coloring much more easier as i know where the Highlights goes because the Artist have already done this Hard part for me so i start coloring portraits when the Grayscale illustrations start to come alive from Artists like Christine Karron and Alena Lazareva who are the Queens of Grayscale, each details and the perfect color of Grayscale are a real Joy & Happyness to color so i just print your Beautiful Girls and the one i really love is the middle Grayscale tones, i don’t really like the Dark one because it’s very hard to achieve a great coloring when you use only colored pencils like i do and i’m not at the skills where i could do the very light version LOL! I hope this help you but still only my own opinion and what i like the most Laura.
Thank You so much for asking and i would love to seeen some Beautiful Fairies and Magical creatures on Grayscale Design’s by you Laura, make shure if you do a Grayscale PDF or Physical Book i will buy it for shure, the reason i haven’t buy your Gorgeous Circle of Faces Book is because it’s all Line Art and i just can’t color these, but on Grayscale i would of jump on it and buy your Amazing Artwork on these Gorgeous Portrais,
Thank You for being so kind to me dear Laura, i Highly appreciated it!
